Shipping Policy

Areas we offer delivery

We are currently only delivering our frozen perishable items within Gauteng and Cape Town Surrounds. All of our non-perishable dry pantry goods, as well as Asian snacks and drinks are available for delivery anywhere within the Republic of South Africa.

Delivery and collection options, details and cost

We have partnered with a courier for all store items, except frozen goods, these products are delivered via another courier partner to ensure we maintain best cold chain practises. Please note when ordering non-perishables and perishable items, you will receive two separate packages.

Non-perishable goods:

National flat rate deliveries to door, shipping fee is R120 per order. Orders over R1000 will be eligible for free shipping.

3 -5 working days (not including weekends / public holidays)

Frozen goods:

Local Gauteng deliveries to door, shipping fee is R200 per order. Orders over R1800 will be eligible for free shipping.

The areas of delivery: Sandton, Soweto, Roodepoort, Pretoria, Midrand, Edenvale, Krugersdorp, Centurion, Brakpan, Benoni.

Local extended Distance Gauteng deliveries to door, shipping fee is R300 per order. Orders over R2500 will be eligible for free shipping.

3 -5 working days (not including weekends / public holidays)

The areas of delivery: Hartebeespoort, Lenasia, Hekpoort, Springs, Randfontein, Bapsfontein, Bronkhorstspruit, Carletonville, Fochville, Heidelberg, Meyerton, Vanderbijlpark, Vereeniging, Walkerville, Rayton, De Deur.

Cape Town and surrounds

Cape Town and surround deliveries to door, shipping fee is R250 per order. Orders over R2000 will be eligible for free shipping.

3 -5 working days (not including weekends / public holidays)

The areas of delivery: Wynberg, Tokai, Tableview, Sea Point, Milnerton, Durbanville, Claremont, CBD, Camps Bay, Blue Downs, Bellville, Gordon's Bay, Somerset West, Strand, Hout Bay, Stellenbosch, Klapmuts, Melkbosstrand, Noordhoek, Muizenberg, Peninsula, Paarl.

Cape Town extended Distance deliveries to door, shipping fee is R400 per order. Orders over R3500 will be eligible for free shipping.

3 -5 working days (not including weekends / public holidays)

The areas of delivery: Yzerfontein, Malmesbury, Pringle Bay, Bot River, Kleinmond, Wellington, Langebaan, Veldrif, Shelly Point, Fisherhaven, Hermanus, Stanford, Gansbaai, Franschhoek.

We do require someone to be at the provided delivery address when you order any frozen/perishable deliveries. We recommend that you refrigerate your order as soon as it arrives.

Collection is available at our physical store and will receive a 15% discount for collection. Address: Shop 16 Parkmore Square, 11th Street, Parkmore, 2196. Our team will contact you to advise when your order if ready for collection.

Please note that our courier partners do not deliver to red zones due to high risk factors.

Delivery communication process

You’ll receive emails from us when you place an order on our website. First, we’ll confirm that we’ve received your order. Then, we’ll confirm that your order is being processed. When your order is on its way to you, you will receive an WhatsApp and email with the order number and an estimated time of delivery. Kindly note that the provided delivery address 

PLEASE NOTE:

You are not able to change the delivery address yourself once you have already submitted your order. Should you wish to change it you can contact our customer support team on info@urbanpadstal.co.za or 0737875335 and they will be able to update this depending on the status of your order.

Should you wish to update your address once it has already been delivered, our team will send over a courier quote and we can arrange to have it sent to your desired address.

The customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and ensuring that a person authorised to accept the order is present at the delivery address at the agreed delivery time. If delivery cannot be completed due to the absence of a recipient, incorrect or incomplete address details, restricted access, or refusal to accept the parcel, the order may be returned to us or held by the courier.

Should the order require re-dispatch for any reason attributable to the customer, including failure to accept delivery, the additional delivery costs and any related administrative fees will be for the customer’s account and must be settled prior to re-dispatch.

For temperature-controlled or perishable goods, we reserve the right to cancel the order without refund if delivery fails due to the customer’s unavailability.

Potential issues

Goods are occasionally damaged in transit, and we will happily replace these. Please do take a photo of the damaged item as this helps our packing team improve the way products are wrapped and sent. Send an email to info@urbanpadstal.co.za with your order number or get in touch via WhatsApp or call us on 0737875335 to report the damaged item so that we can correct the issue.

Missing items

Whatsapp us on 0737875335 or email our customer support team on info@urbanpadstal.co.za with your order number and details of the product/products not received and we will gladly assist in sorting this out for you.
